Barbara Cain Literary Scholarship
Award: One winner will be awarded $1000
Eligibility: High school senior or undergraduate student
Application Deadline: September 21, 2023
Essay Topic: What have you learned from the books you've read, and how have they shaped your goals?
RonranGlee Literary Scholarship
Award: 5 winners will be awarded $2000 each
Eligibility: High school senior or two or four-year undergraduate student
Application Deadline: April 22, 2024
Essay Topic: Please select a paragraph of your choosing (provide a copy of the paragraph in your response), preferably from an ancient literature or philosophy book, and write a short essay expounding your understanding of the writer's underlying meaning of the text. Avoid summarizations and vague language that wanders from your central thesis that should be stated at the beginning of your essay.
