Save the Pell Grant

The Senate is currently working on a bill that would eliminate the Pell Grant for 20% of its recipients, which would amount to 1.4 million students. More than half of recipients would lose access to their grant or see a reduction based on the new rules on eligibility for the grant. Millions of students rely on this need-based grant to make college both affordable and attainable, and this would be a devastating blow to their ability to receive a college education.

We need your help to stop this from happening. Reach out to your senator now and ask them not to cut the Pell award amounts or cut student eligibility. Below I have included the senators for each state, their phone number, and their education staffer’s email, along with some messaging.
